I don't know if I should even post this here, as I don't really share personal stuff, but I did something similar about six years ago on FA, and... I'm a bit scared.
I just found out that my mom has cancer. She called me into her sewing room a few minutes ago and told me that she was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She said the doctor thinks it's early, and she's going to have surgery on April 23 for a hysterectomy, and she says it will hopefully get all of it. My sister knows about this, my brother doesn't, but he will be told soon. She's also going to have a Covid test three days before the surgery. She said she hopes she'll get out the same day and won't have to stay in the hospital. I did a journal on FA about six years ago when she went to the hospital for gall bladder surgery and she stayed for a few days, but hopefully she won't have to stay this time. My sister is going to come here and work from here on the day my mom goes to the hospital. The news has left me feeling concerned and a bit scared. I don't really know what to think about all this.
