Can You Give Me Some Advice For CLIP STUDIO

I had been using a drawing tablet these past days, even though like I said that I rarely use it since I bought it.
The drawing tablet I bought came with three art software included and one of them is a program named
CLIP STUDIO and I was wondering, Anyone who uses it, Do you have some tips or advice on using that program?
Like how to make shadows on a drawing, how to use the tools in order to make digital art like many do, or maybe just some general
tips and advice.

I would like to know more about how to make digital art.

I would say there are many different possibilities on how to use all these tools and a lot it depends on personal taste and techniques!
I honestly don't know where to start, but it helped me a lot in the beginning to just watch other artists in stream to get an idea of how they do it!

Although there is definitelly one most important rule: save regulary >.>

I've been using CSP for about a year and have learned a lot. I'm not at my home computer though, but I can send you some of my personal setting to help you get started on finding a style that works for you. I can also post a little later some helpful videos that have provided me a good base point for what you're looking for.

Sorry that this took a while, been busy with life stuff but I've gathered a few videos to help with understanding some of the potential for shading and coloring in CSP.

Even though this video is about webcomics it does give some really good basic info to help you get started.  Not only does it give good shading tips, but it can also show you how to properly trace 3d objects with ease for a quicker background.  Of course, this doesn't offer the best of advice for just starting out to draw so here is my other go to video to begin.

When it come to inking, I prefer to use vectors.  Not only do they look smoother but they can also be adjusted using the object tool.  This video is a good (not great though) primer on vectors, but the video also has a link to CSP's official YouTube channel so there is a lot more interesting information on there.

As for myself, when it comes to my own drawing style, when I open a new drawing file in CSP I keep it small for sketching purposes, usually 1240 x 1748 and then once I've done sketching I then change the image resolution by doubling it.  That way when I start inking I can use a bigger pen.

When I start inking I use the "g-pen" because I do prefer the smoothness.  I used to use the "post correction" option for vector drawing but it's not really that good.  It's either too jagged for the high correction, or not noticeable at all for the lower correction setting.  There are a lot of other pens to use though, and you can ink in pencil if you want it to reflect your style, it even has a crayon setting as well.  I usually go with 8 to 10 size for thick lines and 5 to 6 for thin lines.  You do what you feel comfortable as well.

If you want a finer tracing detail for your sketches a Bezier curve is really handy.  It's a lot like the pen tool in photoshop but a little less cumbersome.  That's all I've got a the moment.  There are a lot of videos out there but there isn't anything that really appeals to just someone who wants to draw furry stuff.  I'm thinking about making my own video some day for those who just want to throw together some rule 34 stuff.  I hope this helps you. ^v^

Play around with stabilization. I find I draw best with it set to high but you might find lower settings more preferable.
