I’m going to be posting more chapters of ATW. I love night in the woods and I love these characters so much.
My story does follow some time after the events of the game itself, however I just kinda go crazy with it honestly I just want to explore more of these characters in a bizarre convoluted story.
I’d say it’s a supernatural continuation where Mae can see ghosts and Gregg can see the future through PTSD nightmares. Mae will eventually develop a special ability I guess you can call it that. Early on I have this shadowy organization basically stalking Mae from the shadows the reason for this is because they have ties to the murder cult from the game.
It’s a fun story that will show the pasts of the four main characters and explore their relationships and interactions with one another.
I’ll just say it the main characters are technically Mae and Gregg because I flip flop back forth following each of their perspectives in the story. I do this because Gregg and angus have moved away essentially. Though no worries our hero’s will all be reunited at some point. Also I’m a real sucker for Angus and Gregg their relationship is like my favorite in the whole story I explore them a lot especially their pasts and how they first met.
I do have sex in this story... not me lol. It’s not the main focus of the story but it will be in there I want to explore every emotion of these characters from sheer depressive sadness to horrific dread to euphoric happiness to sensual sexual relations.
I used to post this story elsewhere but things have changed I’ve changed, clearly.
I left off on chapter seven but I’ve since started writing again and am now up to chapter twelve.
I’ll be dropping the rest of the chapters as well as the remaining chapters here. The story isn’t done though I am in chapter twelve I’d consider it be just beginning at this point.
The characters that will appear in this story are as follows.
Mae Bea Gregg Angus Stan Candy Lori Germ Molly Selmers Mae’s Grandpa Bea’s Dad and Bea’s Mom the Cultist’s and probably several more.
I’ve also created some non existent characters for example, I gave Lori a Grandmother whom she stays with that lives near to where Gregg and Angus are now living.
I will say the primary relationships in this story are gonna be between that of Gregg and Angus, (they are my favorites will probably post art of these two as well so look forward to that) the second will be of Bea and Mae. (Yes I know please just do not I have my reasons I build up to their relationship slowly over like 10 chapters lol.)
Anyway that’s all I hope you will check out my chapters and future art. I love this game and I love these characters!
