Hey, hey! How's the new year going so far? Hopefully at least a bit better than the previous one!
I've been a bit quiet lately but that's because I've been working on a new, quite big project which is a short, traditional 2D animation! The animation will fall under the babyfur category and it'll be about Tupi (my raccoon fursona x3) getting buckled up in a baby car seat (despite of really not wanting to, so you can expect lots of squirming and struggling! ;3). The scene will be about 8 seconds long. As I've already mentioned, it's a traditional 2D animation so that means I'm drawing everything frame-by-frame, i.e. it takes lots of time to create. I've already spent about a month on it and currently I've finished sketching most of the keyframes and breakdowns. Obviously, there's still lots of work ahead so I'm sure it'll take at least few more weeks to have it completely finished, but so far I'm very happy with the results! It's my first time seriously working on a traditional animation but I'm really loving it and I hope to go even further in this direction from now on! ^^
So stay tuned and please be patient for few more weeks while I spend my days drawing all those ~200 frames! xD I'll be posting some WIP sneak peeks of the animation on my Ko-Fi from time to time so make sure to check it out if you're interested! The very first WIP version is already there! Watch it here!
