I'm Worried Where Nintendo's Going With Mario/Zelda

Don't get me wrong, female empowerment is one thing, but they've been
turning their female characters into outright bitches lately and are cucking
their male characters to ridiculous degrees.

In BoTW you have Zelda's new "F-you" personality toward Link and steers
more toward Urbosa  who may as well be a futa at this point, while Link is
just the dog bowing down and wearing chick's clothes.

In Odyssey you have Peach rejecting Mario himself and walking off without
a care after something as genuinely serious as a proposal, then you have
her sneer at Mario and jerk herself away, shaking her head at him in Luigi's
Mansion 3 after she steps off the buss and he offers to walk with her.

I don't care if you make your women more prominent and powerful, but why
in the hell does doing so ALWAYS come at the cost of abusing MEN in the
process these days and making the woman as much of a hateful and/or
ungrateful bitch as possible?

It comes off as more of a cucking fetish than a genuine effort.

Because they dont know how to empower without shitting on someone else. Like Hollywood. Peach in the old mario manga was a better option, when Bowser invaded, she lead the toads into battle. She was strong but needed backup.

Aa for zelda... Yeah i did have issues with her in btow. Mainly her refusal to let link even touch the tablet, and her stubbornness leading to his near death.  But its nice to see her with a flawed personality.

Princess Hilda is still better

Hilda is how Zelda should have always been.

In about 9 out of every 10 games Link does all this stuff and she's just like...

Good job hero now back to the farm/forest/childhood with you.

Link never really bonds with her or gets any true gratification.

You could argue Skyward Sword Zelda wasn't bad with him and loved him...

Then there's the whole "she realized she was the goddess" issue at the
end where she went right back to her whole "Good job go home" persona
at the end.

Hilda however, she's what they tried to do with Zelda in BoTW, but done so
much better and without sacrificing Link, as his alter ego from Hilda's world
turned out to be smart as fuck in the end even if he was less courageous.

Lorule probably had a different trio setup.
Ravio likely had Wisdom. Hilda had Courage. Or Power...

I would love to see more of Hilda

In BOTW we got to see a genuine relationship develop between Link and Zelda.  She was salty and resented him at first because of several factors, frustrations and jealousy at not being able to activate her powers while Link's abilities seemed to come to him so naturally, the king's orders for him to stay by her side making her feel oppressed because he had already been breathing down her neck so much about dedicating herself to her training and now this guy is probably going to tattle on her if she takes a moment to herself (a 16 year old girl needs her space) and the general stress at having to play diplomat and savior with the looming apocalypse and the other champions.  Plus it is perfectly natural for her to get along with Urbosa, that woman was her mother's closest friend, with her gone she likely saw Urbosa as a substitute mother figure.

But she doesn't stay that way, once Link rescues her from a pair of Yiga assassins she softens towards him, they get along much better and she begins to show more affection towards him.  This is not only shown in the memory cutscenes but also her diary entries in her room.  The various incarnations of Link and Zelda have had a myriad of relationships across the generations, they've been lovers, friends, duty bound, I think they've even been related at least once.  Just because this Zelda didn't immediately think he was the coolest guy ever as soon as she met him doesn't mean she's a bitch.

Princess Peach is a total tease though, I can't defend that bitch.

TBH,  I prefer Peach in the comics than in the games. She's actually a badass character that's always got some antics, not like some Damsel in Distress who keeps getting kidnapped all the time.

I mean, Link dresses up in female clothes because he  had to get into Gerudo Town since they don't let men in there. It's pretty consistent since Ocarina of Time, where  Link wasn't allowed in there either but got a special permit pass when he proved his sneaking skills to set the imprisoned carpenters free. Plus, Link has worn girls' clothes before in a way with what happened with Tri Force Heroes. it's just a comedic gab if you wanna put it at that.

Each incarnation of Link  has  been the "dog" of Princess Zelda because their fates have been intertwined since Zelda is the reincarnation of the goddess Hylia. Link is the reincarnation of the hero who sacrificed his life for her, and in turn to keep  their souls connected,  Hylia sacrificed her immortality to keep her bond with the hero's spirit. Each relationship with  Link and Zelda differs, but the Link to the Past incarnation was confirmed that Link and Zelda became lovers  from what we learned in its sequel "A Link Between Worlds".

Mario's situation has been pretty clear cut,  Even Game Theory hints that Princess Peach actually like Luigi more than Mario and that Rosalina was in fact  the daughter of Peach and Luigi. Not to mention,  Mario  in Super Mario Bros 4 actually gets with Princess Daisy (who's the better of the princesses, IMHO)

It is funny though, because  Mario and Peach are partnered pairs  in the sports games and Luigi and Daisy are partners, but Luigi doesn't technically know Daisy.

Also,  i ship  Mario and Bowser, especially in Bowsette form. either way, you get chonk Dragon dad or Dragon MILF.
