So I finally got to see an eye doctor today. The good news is that I got a pretty solid explanation without something directly being wrong. So it turns out instead of the retina tearing away like I was afraid of, it seems that the jelly behind it (I'm blanking on the technical term) is coming off the retina. Apparently it's a fairly normal thing (?), and it should be completed within a month. However, I do still have to be mindful of how much strain I'm putting on my eye, because it could rip the retina out with it.But at the moment there's no need to immediate treatment. Just being careful is all.Thank God, I was scared about needing a surgery ontop of all my other problems. Since this was technically an "emergency" appointment, I'll have a proper follow up on Friday for general inspection.Thank you all who wished me well. I'm definitely looking to putting this behind me as fast as possible, and it definitely does ease my mind a bit. Also, birthday fox tomorrow! \o/
