TOR is basically Firefox with zero tracking and script blocking. It also uses supposedly anonymous gateways into a VPN like network, bouncing your signal off of several different (again, supposedly unlogged IPs before using a random Exit Node to find the site you're browsing to. I believe it will still save passwords, but when the point is to have a fully private, secure, (nearly) untrackable web experience, some may see that as counterintuitive
