Despite everything in this post, I'm honestly not at all ready to have that conversation. Best I can say is that I've become extremely skeptical of the worth of a lot of liberal ideas, and I'm still feeling a bit of guilt over that. Frankly, I'm afraid you'd think less of me for it. =/
That being said, I'm also somewhat skeptical of the traditional rifts these ideological differences have fostered.
