When I was starting out this month, I hoped that the new environment would be great to start over with this long-running ambition I have had, to create a world of my own design and share it. I have seen it done before, so many great artists with original works that take off and they make a living off of it. That was my dream at one point.
But honestly, I lack the passion that such artists have. Not for lack of trying, as I have been on and off with my world for over a decade now. I can certainly apply myself. But long story short, I wasn't having fun with it anymore. I'm sorry if anyone actually cared about my earlier posts, but I have decided to take them down and put that world on indefinite hiatus. Maybe some of you hardly knew it, but that was just a piece of something that used to mean a lot to me.
If I am stopping it, it's not simply to give up on my dream. After all, I know too well that some things just don't come true and I will not ask anyone to care about me just because. Everybody loves something, even me. And I would like to lead with that love from now on, so I hope to dedicate myself to fanworks in the near future. Who knows, maybe I won't lack the passion for that.
