I know well that I haven’t posted a single story in over three quarters of a year now, too well actually, It’s been plaguing my mind so much these past few months.
Sidenote, I apologise if this is not what you expected from me after being inactive for months on end, I’ve needed to get this off my chest for a while now so please hear me out.
I originally planned back in September to have a one month break, (hence why I said I’ll be writing again soon in my last journal) and start writing again in October/November. But as you can see (or as you can’t see) this has turned into over an 8 month break now. And I just wanted to say, that from the bottom of my heart, I'm deeply sorry, for letting this happen.
I have no excuse as to why I was away for this long, neither do I have a real reason for it either. I guess it was a mixture of things combined that lead to it, real life issues and writing, I was just lost, then time just slipped away from under my feet, days and weeks just flew by me just like that.
However these last couple of months have given me time to reflect. This lockdown had taught me many things, in particular the importance of time, what I should be doing with it and how I should be using it. I understand that importance now more than I did when I was active, cause just like myself, we never know when it might end.
I promise I will change.
Out of all this negativity however, I also wanted to say... thank you, for being patient with me and not leaving me. These last few months in particular have not been the easiest for me. Then again, it hasn’t been easy for any of us due to the current pandemic going on at the moment. But I promise… I promise from now on, to not only improve myself with my writing but with more consistent story uploads.
