Mild overtaging rant.

ok i've been pushed to this.. Sorry about shouting out to the world.

Those Wonderful writers out there among us pleas .. PLEAS take note

Stop tagging story continuations (part 2 3 4) Chapter 2 3 4 With every friggen tag in the whole story.
infact limet the tags to primary interactions. just because there's a skunk mopping floors minchin in 2 lines dosnt earn him a tag.
And stop putting previous tags in seprerated parts.

Keep the tags limited to the section at paw. just becos your novel has sceens with 30 different species and theres all sorts of tagworthy events in the totality of the story dosnt mean you should put M/M/? /H/T, insert every kink here/
Only tag whats in the chapter actually happening. if BSDM is minchend but not preformed then pleas skip it.

Yes my spell check is broken. yes it annoys me.

Spotted skunks for proper tagging of content. Not to little Not to much Just right.

Should be tagged properly from the get go.

wish we could suggest removing tags. :)

hmm i think the poster can but theres no option in sugested tags to remove a tag that shouldnt be there.

This is normally how I treat my chapters, although I've also had someone bitch HARD at me for not including a tag for a kink they don't like that happened two chapters earlier and was only VERY briefly mentioned in the one they were bitching about, hehe.

Well that person dosn't understand how tagging for content works.

Honestly for searching via tags you dont include every possible thing. by the time your done you've re written the story in short form. and hit every single search result. under the sun.

when i'm searching i'm looking for the main things in the story. when i see M/F M/M i'm expecting a guy and a gal and then two guys making whoopy.

when i look for keywords like this.
Male Female M/f cub skunk otter.
i'm looking for a male female cupple having some fun times.

What i find is folks tagging every single blasted species under the sun in the story.
So what i get is an alagator and a moose sending there kids off to summer camp so they can have some alone time.
meainwhile they pass or have a short conversation with a skunk an otter a rabbit a kangaroo an ostrige a mink and wolfox.
none of wich are in happy fun time.
when all i wanted was a skunk boffing a cute lil otter. or vise versa
and if one of the passing acuantences has a slave or sub they toss those keywords in to even tho they have nothing rto do with whats mainly going on..

oh you could setup a keyword system that could acomedate but it would a pain in the tookus to setup properly
Primary tags *searchabul*
Secondary tags *not included in defualt search* but filterd by defualt do not want list.
Primary tags should only include main actors in the sceen and direct kinks and species.
Secondary can go nuts. wont efect my searching and will make the stooges happy.
But get the posters to seporate them properly ... probly wont happen.
