took me awhile to feel okay typing this out, but in short i will no longer be posting my full res images through e621. i had a very civil exchange with someone who did not deserve civil responses over trans issues, and my account was locked by a moderator even after the individual and i had come to a civil close for the argument. i share an IP with my boyfriend who was also involved, and since he was also arguing, the reason they stated for my account lock was that i was a 'cheating alt'. i emailed them with an explanation (as has my bf and a few friends) but have heard absolutely nothing from them. the admin who banned my account has had a lot of suspicious activity with banning trans individuals without warning, and i think this may have been the issue here. i'm incredibly hurt about it, my art had the most reach on e621, but i won't be creating another account. i don't want to be on a website where i have to worry about being passive aggressively banned.
i have no issue if people would like to post my work there. i just will not be active involved.
as a reminder, inkbunny still allows me to post the full res of my images, as well as all their different versions, very easily so they will still be available.
