- Kipo and the age of the wonderbeasts season 1 : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kipo_and_the_Age_of_Wonde...
Colorful, silly, funny and with good songs, this little show was a surprise to me. It's all about the silly universe and all the jokes that goes with it. There is an overearching story, but it's not a big thing overall. There is some plotholes overall, but not a big deal. Just ride the sillyness and colorful entertaining adventures of Kipo. 4 barks out of 5

- Star trek picard : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_Picard
So, the captain that made me love Star Trek after I have been burned by TOS is back. I couldn't be not happy about it. It's also the first show that isn't about a ship but about one character. It is also set in the future of TNG-VOY era and so speaks about what happens to characters I loved. I wasn't disappointed by all the characters that were brought back but I was a bit confused about what they pick for storyline. They decided to change the canon return of Data (from the Kevin timeline canon comics) to create a storyline about androids. It's a dark version of the Federation, but not one that doesn't make sense (contrary to what people have said on the internet), just not the one people liked. I didn't like it either, but I can see it happening.

I wasn't really sold on the whole story for a while, for the main reason it was really slow. About half way it start picking it up, but as someone I saw a video point out that with shows that have an one storyline for the whole season and now monsters of the week episodes, if you don't get involved into the storyline, you stop watching the show... and at times I nearly felt like it with this one. The fact it had a lot of the same problems as Discovery (which is no surprise since it's the same people who made it) was a reason for it, and when (like Discovery) it started to pick up I was way more into it (and gosh, all those characters I love coming back). So, what overall ? It's a bit slow, a bit dragged on, lack pacing, but has some great characters, really nice scenes and some character development and all that. I'll give it 2.75 barks out of 5 for all the stuff dragging it down but I think it could have been so much better.

- Steven Universe Future : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Universe_Future
So, oh gosh I have a lot to say about this one but I gonna try to keep it simple. So, Steven Universe was a wonderful show when it come to psychology, emotions, acceptances and all this. It was super well written, carrying a lot with each episodes. It ended a great storyline that carried through the entire show before moving to a movie that was disappointed for me, breaking the style, story and character development of the previous series. And this continue on the same theme. It's main storyline is about dealing with post-traumatic stress disorders and all this kind of stuff, but the episodes are disjointed, the characters are not as involved and as deep as before... it's the same kind of strong storyline, but not written as good. That saddens me a lot. It was a hard watch for me after knowing the previous show. 2,5 barks out of 5

- Yakitate japan : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakitate!!_Japan
A really silly cooking show that was suggested to me by Kero after I watched Food Wars, it is a totally different kind of show. Food Wars has real cooking stuff while Yakitate goes all the way with food that let you travel through time when you eat it. It goes all the way to the sillyness of it, but I believe it should have ended by the Monaco cup, because it started to run out of ideas after. I mean, how can you make better food that one that allowed you to travel to time to fix your parents' death ? It seems the goal of the main character got on the side (it reach it in the final season but really downplay it) and they just kept going while totally killing the progress on some character development... 3.75 barks out of 5

- Word party season 4 : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Word_Party
So, my favorite diapered toddlers on netflix are back and this time, they are introducing teaching you chinese, which is the langage of my mother's side of the family (my irl one). Not going to really learn it unless you watch the episodes many times, but something I like. The quality is about the same, the songs are reused but introducing a 5th character (making it three girls / 2 boys splits). It's nice and cute (but what, a bath time episode ? Huff huff !). 3.25 barks out of 5

- Trolls world tour https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trolls_World_Tour
So, the original Troll movie had been a surprising interesting movie despite the stupid premises, so with mommy we decided to give a try to the sequel. In a rather different style of story, it explores a lot about music and friendship and how people from different lifestyle can work together to some extent to make something better. It's a so different style that I enjoyed it more even if it was entirely predictable. They put so many jokes, like the previous one, flying in every direction without really any limits. It's fun, silly and all that. 3.75 barks out of 5

- Dragon Quest : your story https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dragon_Quest_medi...
So, I wasn't really sure about this movie since I don't really know the Dragon Quest stuff past Fly (which I'm not sure about the link to this particular movie). Some of it was bugging me, but it got explained by the end twist and I wasn't expecting it. The graphics are not bad, sometimes it is not fully polished, the story is a bit up and down at times and predictable outside of the final twist, but it's enjoyable and nice. 3 barks out of 5

- Zombillenium https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombillenium
Based on a graphic novel I read and enjoyed (until the 3rd one, which dragged stuff way too much and ruined some pay-off), the movie works the main overeaching storyline arc of the novels while cutting down on the couple of pages jokes that filled most of the books. It works out the story as best as it can, lacking time to really develop everything (leaving people who don't know the books a bit confused about stuff who are set up without having any pay off), but is overall funny and refreshing. You should check it out. 3 barks out of 5
