I got a small tip from a friend on telegram that two fursuit makers named Tonya Dillard and Jacob Berkovitz who were couples. They own LockJawArts creating fursuits and drawings. They aren't half bad either in their talents, but they have committed murder.
I right away dug around a little and it seemed both were having mental breakdowns and suffering money problems. Last post they had was on twitter about a month ago. They seemed very skilled at making fursuits and art. Unfortunately they took a darker path. What a waste. It saddens me such talented hands spilled blood.
In Las Vegas, NV. They lured a suspect into picking them up from a dating app. Investigators say the victim yet to be identified picked up and drove the couple back to Berkovitz' residence where the victim was robbed and then killed by the couple. They told a one of their friends that they killed a man the night before. The friend anonymously tipped police. Also the couple sent a picture of the body to that friend who tipped the police and that friend gave the photo to the LVPD.
The two were then seen leaving the house when authorities arrived at the scene and were taken into custody. As a result of the investigation, Dillard and Berkovitz were transported to the Clark County Detention Center for murder with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, robbery with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
