Hey all,
I'm here again with another update. The CYOA from the last journal, featuring Plum at a concert, hasn't gone anywhere. I tried running it with less planning than Half Pints, but cornered myself in a spot where I didn't know how to progress the game. On top of that, players lost interest in the text-based style.
Good news is that I've come to realize that I can't just force myself to work on one thing or another. I'm going to be free flowing with what I work on from now on, putting my effort on what I WANT to do rather than what I feel I NEED to do in order to keep myself from burning out. I've been doing this for the last month and it's worked out well so far.
I'm going to be removing Half Pints from hiatus, but it's not going to have any set schedule. Two posts could be a month and a half apart, and then the next 5 could all come on the same weekend. I think this will be the best way for me to continue the cyoa going forward. I hope you all understand.
I'll make a catch up post to refresh everyone on the ongoing plot threads with all the characters somewhat soon.
