I got a metal mug that could get me free refills of this guys home made Root beer and cream soda. I made four stops. When I got a turkey leg to nom on (the first food I had all that day) I looked like a well groomed viking in a Hawaiian shirt. Got some homemade licorice as well. =9
We got a hotel room and went to see the late showing of Pirates: Band of Misfits (highly reccomend) at the local Cinemark. Best part was the chairs there. They were black leather rockers. Like recliners without the foot rest.
We woke up and got our free breakfast which included a Belgian waffle maker =D
We went to a little place called Pickles Gap Village: http://picklesgap.com/ Real nice place for those that enjoy simple country life and the old fashion.
Not much to say about that except its gorgeous up there, in a dizzy vertigo inducing way. And very tiring. Lots of hiking on steep incline trails but its worth it. We also got to be first to see the newly modeled lodge a day before it opened to the public.
That's about it. Glad to be home and now to catch up on things.
