It couldn't be worse than this.

I also translated my comics into Chinese without permission and posted them on the site without permission.  8 comics were also posted without permission.
And my precious comic (TAKA) was also posted on the site without permission.
It is a sad thing.
I want to ask everyone.
Do you think it's better to stop selling manga for a while or should you continue?
I will sell it to Patreon supporters for a while.

To be honest its going to happen. Even if you do that on patreon you still run the risk of it being shared.

No matter where you post your content there is always a risk someone will share it. Keep selling, keep doing what you enjoy.

Just be glad their is interest. Alot of JP games would never have gotten a translation and playable by US gamers if not the similar route taken. And heck if ya make Patreon and get supporters its still money in pocket none the less do you really think you would lose out in long run if some shared with out permission?

I think that's probably right but I don't know for sure.

Bro, you have some comics on you site that are sold out. Your customer base is not going anywhere. Hell, it may even grow. I just wish you had digital versions of those comic for sell. I would definitely buy a couple, whether or not someone has posted it else where. Maybe if you opened up a Gumroad?

Anytime. I just thing people should have a digital option in case the physical copy gets sold out or their copy gets lost, especially if it gets lost by mail, where there is no way to know if you will get it back, even moreso if it is traveling abroad.

Yeah, if it's available, people are going to share/pirate it on the internet. It's just what happens.

Not much you can really do about it, to be honest.

I think the thing you should be more concerned with is the copyright infringement you're doing. Since you're in Japan it's unlikely that Walt Disney will actually pursue you, but you should know that what you're doing is illegal. You're selling artwork that contains characters that are copyrighted by Walt Disney (Mufasa and Scar), from an Intellectual Property (IP) that is owned by Walt Disney (The Lion King).

Walt Disney doesn't much care about fan art, be it adult or not, but selling your art changes the entire situation. Patreon seems to be a (very) grey area for now, but who knows how long that will last.

Just be careful, and maybe read up on the legalities of selling fan art. If you turn up on the radar of Disney's lawyers you're probably very royally screwed. Stay safe!

Yes.  of course.
That ’s why I ’m worried.
Gray zone comics spread without my knowledge.
Thank you

If worse come to worse, make your own Lion Ling like characters and make stories with them... They cant  go after you for works that are your own. I'm attempting to make my own characters and have fun writing backstories and kinky stories for them to. Don't quit what your doing you obviously like it just edit how you do it and you'll be fine. If your worried about them coming after you at all.

Piracy is a fact of media life, unfortunately.
It's a mark of growing popularity, in a way.

Keep going! Don’t let the pirates win. Just keep producing art for those supporters. You’ll make more than enough to make up for the piracy as there are more decent folks out there than pirates.

Love your art! :)

Unfortunately piracy is an evil present in the entire entertainment industry. I hope you do not get discouraged from selling your art because of this.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to me talk.
My original character comics will continue to be sold as before, but the sale of comics such as TLK will be postponed.
Please let me think about it for a bit.

Patreon supporters can see some comics.(Only one part)

With how easy it is to share, it's hard to gate images.

I recommend patreon or getting commissions, people that support you are the ones you want to focus on. You'll find good people that is willing to support you enough that you don't need to sell to make money.
