Since late last year I've been trying to start a side business with a former work colleague at my old job.
We were going to do web design and hosting and stuff.
It seemed to be going well. We got our first client, our first job, and it was all progressing nicely and we had a nice paycheque waiting for us at the end.
Just recently as you know, I changed jobs. At around the same time, the other guy moved house, but kept his same job.
Since then... I've pretty much been doing all the work, and the other guy wouldn't respond to my calls or emails or text messages except for really short messages here and there. And I've just kept beavering away at the designs and development for this website, as well as our own website.
And then today, he finally got back to me, and pretty much said "fuck off" (i'm paraphrasing), just as I was about to hand the work over to him to get his side of it done.
I felt like i'd been punched in the gut for a few moments. This is coming at a time where I'm already dealing with some depression and other issues, and... yeah.
I'm kinda at a loss now.
I need to finish this job, of course... i have a contract and stuff. But.. yeah.
Ow, life. You suck =/
