I like this answer a lot. Some of my favorite character design is in Zelda. I don't reference it enough. The shapes are amazing, and I definitely see the similarities in my proportions, and those used in Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, and BOTW.

Thank you for your input. I've taken notice that not a lot of people like my style for sonic characters. Frankly, I'm not doing anything too different from more popular artists, so I don't know why I am picked on in particular, but I can see the distaste in the style overall. I just want to distance myself from it for a bit, outside of requests or commissions. Sonic art just isn't for me.

Ah... I have had trouble recently doing their style of faces. I loved some of the non canon Dragon AF art and designs. I know the lore just as well as Sonic, so perhaps it's something I can put my own spin on and jump into. I'm curious if there's an audience for it here.
