So... I sometimes have people who want to commission me but also want to keep themselves anonymous for various reasons. I don't ask because it's none of my business. I'm just happy that people would want to commission me and allow me to post the art for everyone to enjoy! :)
With that said, I would just like to formally state that if I say an art-piece is an anonymous commission, it's not a puzzle for you to figure out, nor is it a challenge. There's no reason to talk about knowing who it is, and there's definitely no reason to explicitly call out the person! That's just rude!
As such, please keep such comments to yourself.
I don't like deleting comments, but I will if it means keeping some level of anonymity for those who have entrusted me with their privacy. You gain nothing by naming names and it only hurts me because it shows others that I can't be trusted with people's identities. It means I won't be able to post art that's been commissioned anonymously.
I want to make art for everyone and I want to be as positive as I can, so I'm sorry I'm making a negative post like this... But it's something that needs saying. It's not pointed at anyone, and I mostly say this to prevent any future issues from cropping up. So no harm, no foul! :) Let's just have a good time on the site!! :D
