Honestly, I am torn between keeping Lamri as my main sona or Ari. Because I like drawing MLP stuff and I don't see Donkeys very often as sonas, but Ari's species, the species I made, is not common either. >w>; Lamri, I could keep as my main sona as just for.. simplicity. Because it does get annoying explaining what a Kiruta is sometimes.
Lamri, pretty much everyone I know likes him while Ari, about 80% of the people I know likes him, the rest don't or are neutral about him. I know it's silly but I like my main sona being a sona everyone likes because it makes me feel like I did a good job. owo
Because like, when I get tired of a sona I made, it's because not everyone I know likes them. And I end up feeling bad about it because I want my sona to be as enjoyable as possible for others as well as for myself.
Admittedly, I don't really enjoy drawing Ari in any of his forms, I could think of a way to make the species more simplistic to their design, but it's hard to do that without making them look exactly like an existing species.
