To start getting ready for Campfire Tails. Yes, furries going camping in the high desert of La Pine, OR. You ARE going of course, aren't you? Hell, I'm going, with CASES of beer. Yes, cases. If you go, you might get a free beer even, if ya stop and say hi! Hell, ya might even have fun venturing out of the city with a small group of like minded fuzzy folk that like to get together, head to the middle of nowhere to camp for the better portion of a week, enjoy the creek (pronounced 'crik' for all you yankees) along with an awesome waterfall, badass food provided (If ya get a sponsor registration, you get hot meals for breakfast, dinner and supper every day.) and whatever weird, crazy things might get put on for Happenings.
The events, or 'happenings' are purely attendee driven. Meaning, if you want to show folks how to make a killer dj set out of pinecones, sap and flint, or stage a mountain biking trek through the trails with a quick class on bike maintenance, more power to ya!
or if you wanna just sit in your chair and relax all day while humming Glenn Miller, smoking cigars and reading, fuck yeah too.
It's fucking fun as hell. The first day this year happens to fall on a full moon as well, and you can't tell me a full moon out in the forest, miles away from any light pollution isn't awesome. Maybe even a lil romantic if you like that kinda thing.
Y'all really need to go. Attendee space is limited at 170 and closes July 1st, so better get in before the next bozo reads this and gets in before you!
