just got through the busiest week of the year at work. working extra days and overtime, hopefully things will calm down soon. itching to draw some more.
Well, there are peak and off peak times in tourist season. Summer is already drawing to a close, and with school starting in another three weeks, I'm sure it is getting easier by the day(or will be soon). What area do you live in(if you don't mind my asking) that draws in so many tourists? And while drawing regularly is important for an artist(practice make perfect and all that), something can be said for not forcing it out and sacrificing any and all free time to do it. You'll burn yourself out and end up hating something you enjoy.

A lakeside town? How nice. I'd love to live somewhere near a lake someday. Up to 4x busy in the summer? Oof, that's rough. It's slow season for me, but it'll be starting to pick up again in about six weeks. At any rate, keep hanging on. It won't last forever.
