I'm going to post an art status update every 3 month period.
June has taken the record of most drawings done in a single month, now. at 21 count.
As you can see, in the months of March and April, I wasn't very productive at all. Truthfully, it was a lot of things going on at once. Things like-- going on a road trip out of state, dealing with toxicity here at home, being hit with a lot of stress, anxiety, and depression, and just a myriad amount of other things that really just-- put a complete stop in art production.
I know that blaming depression can only get me so far. And saying it's the reason I don't work, can only be valid for so long before it starts becoming an excuse. I have to keep pushing out art no matter what. Work is work. It's just-- I'm so tired... I'm emotionally exhausted. I need a vacation from this house, from this life in general. I need me time. And I think that's why I started drawing a lot of personal art in June, in the mix of all the commission art. I want to practice self love again. I want to draw my many ideas, bring them to life, start projects. I need to take art seriously and start becoming professional about it, even through my personal work.
Now that we begin July, I must update you all that we're going on a road trip out of state, AGAIN. This time I might not return home until 3 weeks from now. Hell, I won't be spending my birthday here at home, so I swear we better go eat somewhere nice to make it up to me /spoiled brat
With that being said, with how much we'll be on the road, and dragged everywhere to "take pictures" and "see everything, because we won't ever see it again", July may not be as productive either, and I apologize in advanced for that.

My goal and resolution for this year was to draw and/or submit an average of 10 submissions per month. With all 6 months above total, it's at 66 now. I just need to draw or at least post 4 more things in July to meet my average, since I'm 6 submissions ahead currently. Here's hoping to a good July, and hopefully a good Birthday x3
