Mikey POV.
‘For a few months now I’ve been trying to get Bryant alone with me so I can tell her something but when I have the chance it’s either my brothers or I freeze up when I see her. I just want to tell her that I have a crush on her and I want to ask her out. I just don’t know how.’ I wrote down in my journal when one of my brothers knocked on the door.
“Hey Mikey! Get ready to go on patrol, we’re leaving in a few minutes.” Donatello said from the other side of the door.
“Ok! I’ll be out in a bit.” I said as I put my journal away and grabbed my nunchucks and headed out the door to join my brothers while Bryant stayed home to patch us up when we got home.

“Owowowowow.” I whimpered as I was helped through the door and sat on the couch. Bryant ran over with her healing water out and ready to work.
“What happened?” She asked as she looked over my body to spot any injuries.
“His arm was broken in several places and a couple ribs were broken. We got him back here as quickly as possible.” Donatello said as she began to mend my injuries. Bryant looked intently at her work and then once she was done, she put the water away and began to leave.
“Hey Bryant?” I asked. She turned and looked at me with her amazing green eyes.
“What do you need Mikey?”
“Oh… nothing. I just wanted to say thank you for fixing me up.”
“Sure. Just be careful next time. It would be horrible if we lost you, Mikey. Now get some rest and heal up.” She said before she left the room.
‘You missed the chance again, Mikey. You need to tell her your affections towards her.’ I scold myself after she leaves. Donnie comes back in to check on me. He kisses me on the head and checks my arm.
“How are you feeling?” He asked me as he sat down on the bed next to me and put a hand on my thigh.
“I’m alright.” I said.
“Mikey, you know I can tell when there’s something bothering you. Tell me what’s going on in that mind of yours.” Donatello prompted me.
“You know about Bryant’s polygamous thing with the four of us, right?”
“Yeah. What is your point Mikey?” He asked as he put a hand on my stomach where our future daughter was growing.
“Well. I’m developing an attraction to her.” I said.
“Really? I knew there was something up with you. I’m sure if we let Leo and Raph know about this they might help get you closer to her.” He told me.
“Are you sure?” I asked. “I don’t want her to get overwhelmed. She is helping Leo care for Nyerida, Ryu, and Yoshi, she got Raphael pregnant a couple months ago, and the two of you are planning to get pregnant in the spring. I feel like an inconvenience.”
“You aren’t. Bryant just has a plan and she doesn’t want to overwhelm herself with dividing up attention between the four of us.”
“She doesn’t have to entirely ignore me. It’s like I don’t exist in her eyes.”
“You do. In fact, why don’t you ask her.” Donnie said as Bryant came in with some food for me.
“Hey. Are you doing ok?” She asks as she sets the tray across my lap and sits down as Donnie leaves the lab and left the door partially open.
“Yeah. I’m doing ok. Donatello said that the baby is ok. But I want to know something.” I say as a lump form in my throat and I lean forward to Bryant.
“Do you like me? Do you even want me in the whole polygamous relationship you have with my brothers?” I blurt out.
“Mikey? What made you think that?” She asks me as she then shifts to face me.
“You act as if I’m not even in the room when you’re around. Is there something about me that you don’t like?”
“What isn’t there to not like about you? There is a reason why I haven’t really been paying attention to you is that if I looked at you, it would trigger the protective instincts of both Raphael and Leonardo. Right now isn’t the best time for you and me to develop a romantic relationship. Right now, we are in what is called a platonic relationship where not very many romantic actions are made. Someday I would love to have a romantic relationship with you but you and Donnie are expecting your own child of your own and the two of you just came out to the family that the two of you love each other. You should work on the bond that you and Donatello have before working on something with me. For now I’d love to give you advice on what to do when your child comes and even some tips when you and Donnie are in disagreement with each other. To be honest I’m not even ready to begin another romantic relationship. It doesn’t mean that you and I don’t have something; we do have something but I just don’t know what it is yet. I do see you Michelangelo. You are not invisible to me at all.” She explained. I relaxed and pulled her into a hug.
“You have no idea how long I’ve been wanting to hear that.”
“I’ve been wanting to tell you that for weeks but never got the chance.” She said as she hugged me back.
“Wanna go play some Smash brothers?” I suggested.
“Sure, but after you eat your pizza.” She said.
“Ok! By the way, I love you”
“Love you too Mikey.”
