I just got home from work and found an eviction notice in my apartment for nonpayment of rent. I am scrambling to get the $2100.00 needed for the past rent to avoid the eviction while trying to figure out what happened to my payment that I made on the 3rd as I KNOW the payment went through and the money left my account. As of right now, I can't afford to move. Please guys, I am begging and pleading for any and all help possible.
So as of right now, I am posting my paypal: johnny_yuma1965@hotmail.com , Kofi and my GoFundMe in order to raise the needed funds to cover my missing rent. I am going to be utilizing any and all avenues and organizations to get as much of this covered as possible while working.
Other than electronic, what form of payment was used?
Did you have to electronically authorize it or was it automatically withdrawn from your bank?
Unless you went to some sort of cash payment place then you should have a record of your bank account or credit card having submitted the funds to somewhere thus allowing you to show the landlord the time, date and to whom the payment was made?
This also sounds like a pretty aggressive rent agreement that you'd be getting an eviction notice right off the bat like this, or are you already a bit behind thanks to the passing of your roommate?

Just electronic via checking account. I have been on the phone with my bank and have locked my account down until I see a banker tomorrow. The new owners of the apartment complex I live at, made it clear that they are only accepting electronic payments only.

Nope. I was told by my bank that the money was sent to the payment center for my apartment, apartment management shows that I paid the rent and haven't received the money, I have the receipt showing I paid and I know the funds were taken out of my account within three days of the receipt. So this is a mystery that is going to be fun to solve
