Are the Ralts line pokemon shapeshifters?

Hey, I just kind of thought of this and was surprised to not find any theory videos on the subject, and that's the Ralts evolution line (Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, and Gallade) are in the amourphous egg group with pokemon like Muck and Gulpin rather than the Human-like egg group with pokemon like Jynx or Machop.  Why is that?  After all the pokemon on the Ralts line are some of the most human looking pokemon in series.  Well I think the answer might lie in evolutionary biology (not to be confused with pokemon evolution, as we all know THAT is actually more like metamorphosis, I'm pretty sure middle and high school biology teachers are VERY keen to make sure their students know that.)
First let's check out Ralts' pokedex entry: "It is highly attuned to the emotions of people and pokemon.  It hides if it senses hostility."  Ralts is a psychic pokemon that reads the minds of others and only appears to those it feels would be kind to it, given how a Ralts is LITERALLY the size of a human infant and not very strong at all that is a superb adaptation to not only avoid predation, but ALSO to find something to take care of it!  Ralts might look so much like a human child because they instinctively know that humans are the dominant species on the planet and they make themselves look like a young helpless version of that.  Perhaps in the distant past Ralts looked like a baby version of whatever the world's dominant species was, and in the absence of other life forms they might just look like formless blobs with red fins sticking out of them.  Now, are they actually altering their body shape to look like human children, or are they simply using their psychic ability to project that image onto us?
