Within a four month time I have lost my dog whom I loved and always made me feel loved and brought joy to my life, then my grandmother who was a beacon of hope, and inspiration. Now I have lost the woman who adopted me into her family, who treated me like her who child. She made me feel better about who I am, and have more faith in myself.
So I am thinking of getting a tattoo of the blue lantern symbol. They represent hope. They are a beacon of hope in the darkness, they support and aid others in their battles.... I think that to me this is a way to honor and remember those I have lost.
So I shall have to start looking to find someone to do the tattoo and hope I can get a good price I can save up for since I hardly have any money, but I think this is worth it to remember them by.
