ok so i am on Amino which is a kids app for people 13 years old and up so sexual and graphic and otherwise adult content is not allowed. i posted a couple artworks recently which i have also posted here. below are links to those artworks
these are totally innocent artworks as you can see and i have never posted anything adult on amino until this point HOWEVER i got an explosion of rude and confused comments over the next few days telling me these artworks were vore and therefore messed up to post here. THEY ARE CLEARLY NOT! people said my character had a belly too big but when i tried to explain the character was just fat they didn't believe me saying the arms and legs would be fat to if this was the case SIGH. clearly they don't know what an apple body shape is so i go ahead and tell them its an apple body shape please look it up.
most of the people either completely ignored this and kept giving rude comments or accepted this answer. there was one guy (i cant show evidence for unfortunately since his comments got deleted from the mods later yay! XD) who argued with me further and said paraphrased "it doesn't look like a "apple" body shape. you say IM assuming but YOU are the one who claimed i need to do research. maybe if you explained the body of the character in the post then people wouldn't think this" WTF?! i don't think i need to point out how stupid this is. thank god the admin got to him. Also here is some images so you can see for yourself what an apple body shape is.
this isn't even the end of it though as i was looking at all this chaos and in the middle of it i noticed in one of the aminos i posted the burger eating artwork the post had actually been disabled by the official amino team! WTF?! this doesn't necessarily mean they thought it was against the rules as there was no message to me about it and why it was removed and i know for a fact that only under certain reasons (you can pick from 7 options for what the reason of flagging is when flagging content on amino) do amino get contacted directly and not the admins of the specific group itself and usually it is something more serious than something possible sexual which means some asshole maliciously misflagged my content knowing amino wouldn't check it and just auto disable the content. At this point i am mother fucking FUMING! I have actually had to go through their support to contact amino staff about this and im currently waiting for the response. so far i have just got standard robot replies and one real person reply but only to add more info and i did so.
this isn't the only gripe i have with this to. i keep getting hate across multiple art websites about my character being fat and even my mum fat shames me a lot. i have claimed the character Clereen to be a sort of symbol of myself so this is very offensive to me personally. therefore i decided enough is enough and i am now making my character Clereen an anti-fat shaming character to fight my belief that people shouldn't be shamed for their body shape or weight and i have already made one artwork to commemorate this whole ordeal. this is basically Derpy all over again. see my artwork and some examples of the hate comments below.
