I'm not saying that because I'm alone. I've never been with anyone and it hasn't bothered me. No, it's pointless because it makes you think this one day that someone you're with is magically entitled to things like jewelry or chocolate or some stuffed animal or a card. That's something you should be doing on any day of the month, not one special day that companies have decided and told you that you have to. And are you really going to bend over backwards to get some piece of jewelry they're probably going to wear once? Or a card or chocolate they'll have for a half second before eating or throwing in a drawer never to be looked at again? All Valentines Day is, is a ploy to make you buy shit you don't need. And if you're not sleeping with anyone it reminds you that no one is fu*king you. So you know what, I say Happy Thursday because it's just another day to me.
