**UPDATE** It turns out a couple of details weren't quite right here. We have since worked things out. I'm leaving the rest of this journal as originally posted, but everything's ok now. :)
I think I've sufficiently recovered where I can talk about it here.
Two days ago, on the first, the day before groundhog day, I saw my best friend in the world on a discord server I'd invited him to, make a little verbal slip up. He came across as more aggressive than he probably meant to. This naturally drew the ire of the others on the server. I tried my best to mediate, but it ended with him storming off.
He then proceeded to attack me for not defending him enough, flamed the discord owner's journal, and then when he was blocked there, went to flame his twitter, like a deranged stalker.
My BFs, instead of seeing my side, sided with him and both dumped me.
So, a relationship, and a core pillar of my life for nearly 10 years, is completely gone, overnight, over a stupid internet fight.
I'm still hurting. I'm still struggling to find a reason to get up in the morning. But I'll get there, in time.
I don't really know where I'm going to go from here. This has pretty much destroyed every single plan I was thinking of for the past decade. For now I'm going to stick to drawing breath until I can think of something.
