So, long story short: My computer is still fucked. Completely. I was GOING to write that it could do word processing at least, but it can't even do THAT due to a weird glitch where it registers the control key as being pressed when it isn't, at random intervals. This is my third time rewriting this journal because it keeps registering "n" as "ctrl-n" or "d" as "ctrl-d" and doing random crap.
SO. This piece of crap is going in the shop. If I can't get it at least minimally functional (able to word process, watch web video, store personal data and files, and stream... NONE of which it can do right now) I will be forced to buy a new computer. I was gonna wait until the summer when I have a better idea of my finances, but at this rate, it's gonna be a lot sooner than expected.
