Well, my computer is now up to spec for some high-end digital art, and I'm trying my paw at building avatars now. At this point I don't know how much of the furry or babyfur audience has access to the kind of hardware needed for VR Chat or Sansar (Linden Labs' successor to SL), but I can tell you it is very promising. Hopefully VRChat will have a version for Oculus Go (which means you won't need to buy a few thousand dollars worth of hardware unless you already have a VR-ready rig).
At this point I'm still experimenting with how to optimize the characters for upload. Polygons, polygons everywhere...
