There have been several changes to the Code of Conduct for FC2019.
"AAE and FurCon do not permit membership or attendance by any individual who is a convicted sex offender, or appears on any federal or state sex offender registry. In addition, AAE and FurCon reserve the right, at the board’s discretion, to deny membership or attendance to anyone with a documented history of sexual violence, including inappropriate conduct towards minors."
Due to this change I will no longer be attending FC now or in the future until they change the CoC. This is a dangerous road to go down as it leaves the door open for abuse, The convention is encouraging a hostile environment for attendees. Just recently a month ago a threat was made against the ABDL community to quote.
"Apparently there’s an event with pedophiles at MFF, gonna show up to that event and fuck up some pedos 🔪"
I also believe that people should have the chance to rehabilitate if they make a honest effort to do so, and there have been no incidents since the prior conviction that they were punished for.
