Summer and autumn are my favorite seasons. October, or as some friends call it Foxtober, is one of my favorite months of the year. It is during this time when tree leaves turn from green to shades of cherry red, sunset orange, golden yellow, and chocolatey brown.
Tis a time to apple pick, pick and carve pumpkins, explore corn mazes, drink apple cider, and attend Renaissance Faires. I am looking forward to attend my favorite, which is King Richards Faire in Carver, MA, this month.
October is a time when households give candy to trick or treaters during my favorite time of year All Hallows Eve. Sugar is found in crazy abundance and dressing out of the norm or in costumes is appreciated. Day light savings fall back an hour is savored. The air is cool and crisp during the day and cold during the night, perfect for snuggling with loved ones.
