"pro artists": You must price your commissions by hourly and by how much your art is worth. but DONT HAVE LOW PRICES!!
umm yea about that. the thing is a lot of people cannot afford that. hell a vast majority of my watchers cant even afford $5 or have a way to pay it! SO WHY THE HELL SHOULD I CHARGE THEM BY HOUR? THAT'S JUST CRUEL!
when I came up with my prices I had my watchers in mind. I wanted to make sure that if they ever wanted to commission me, I wouldn't break their piggy banks in the process. Am I under charging myself? yea probably. but Art is like my side job I will take what I can get. yea its nice to get a commission when I do. but a lot of people just cant commission artists when ever they want. MONEY DOESN'T GROW ON TREE'S!. So I understand why my commission customers are nonexistent right now.
Low Price = Low quality
uh no BULLSHIT , I know a lot of artist with a higher skill level than me who charge low prices and still give out great quality.
Im sorry but a lot of us artists are not Draw with Jazza, or RossDraws with a huge following, and a booming Patron page. we cant just charge prices out the wazoo like were selling Disney World tickets.
