So this wasn't a large concern before, but Hurricane Florence recently shifted direction and stalled out. So this weekend, my area (South Carolina) is going to be caught up in the storm. So far it looks like the worst we will get is very high winds and some flooding, but my house in particular is on higher ground, so I should be okay? Just need to stay indoors and wait it out.
With that said, if we loose power, that will be problematic, since I'll be 100% unreachable until it's restored, however long that could be. (my phone doesn't actually have data usage enabled and uses wi-fi, can't afford otherwise).
So yeah, if I completely disappear for a while, you know why
