Youtube news...

I rarely ever go to youtube now, but after what susan did... just no.
The fact that a man in his kitchen *mark dice* can get 1/2 the views of a well funded mainstream news station tells you something. People want honest journalism. They don't want a drama story. If the mainstream media is dying out that's their own fault. Time after time they've shown they are sellouts. And now back to youtube. Youtube is becoming user hostile by the minute. From "content id" to banning random channels... just useless. Another thing I fear from youtube with this content id flag going on is what if you are a gaming youtuber, and someone else posted their game stream before you? What if your video is banned because it detects the first uploaded stream as "theirs"? This is all going to end badly. Or what if you are a journalist, take a clip from a news agency and then use it? Does it just dis-appear?
But the biggest middle finger youtube has made, in my opinion, is restricting videos and the notification system. With restricted videos, it's basically youtube's way of saying "it doesn't violate our terms, but we hate you anyway." And with the notifications now. First it was subscribing. You'd expect by the definition of subscribing, you'd be subscribed. But no, then comes the notification button. Then comes the "receive all notification button." By the way, it really does nothing. You don't even get all notifications even after that. Then youtube will start force unsubscribing you when you can't see their videos for a time. Another problem is exactly that. What if someone uploads a really good video every three months, yet they keep losing subscribers? That's the youtube way. Youtube is trying to become tv. Trying to make you upload every day. This causes burnout. On and on the problems go... Just switch to another site. Vimeo is a good choice, as well as bitchute. Dtube and peertube I have yet to check out.
