If you feel stuck in a rut or that you're a broken person or that everything's gone wrong and your life starts seeming hopeless, then ShaneFrost 's art may be just the medicine for your soul. They have some pools, but most of their sequential art isn't pooled (yet?). But it's well worth the dive thru their 34-page gallery; even the standalone images are inspirational.
I started following them about when they were posting What's Eating Me, the story of a monster who eats the negative feelings that drag people down. They recently finished Live Again, a story of a ghost fox regaining the will to live. Their current story Without Compare is about what happens to human hearts when we listen too much to those that criticize our work and how to recover.
The target audience might not include people with alarmingly perfect lives, but who hasn't faced adversity?
~ saw some works not so long ago. I've had these thoughts, too. Like lack of motivation for example is being a little shithead laughing at you, while making you unproductive. - What's really tough, is remembering to fight these negative things. It's easy to overcome these problems once we realize the roots, but when miserable, these self-curing methods can be the least that come to mind, unfortunately.
Sometimes I was thinking about getting some cheap rings, popular in the Goth Rock fandom - which can look quite awesome. I was thinking of getting ones that 'talk to me'. I mean a ring with a red eye can be a reminder of how to deal with (Lol, I'm exactly at 666 characters) EVIL.

I'm glad that the reminders help! Knowing that I'm not alone helps me a lot when I remember.

Hmm.... I've felt different emotional reactions to and feelings about things I have/wear, but I've never bought something for that explicit purpose. Please say how it goes when/if you get one! Different rings for different modes of functioning might be a good way for me to focus.... Thanks for the idea!

Roleplay is fun. It keeps the imagination alive.
Taking away the quote tags and the second part of what I quoted results in 665 characters. Returnin
Well, there was no period, but I pressed the space bar, and when I wanted to type the word evil, I noticed it was at 666 characters. So I decided to mention that before typing evil out with red letters.
