Need help with an issue

I commissioned a guy on DigitalEro to get my Wolvalix Rotor and Cobar models redone. It's been over 2 years since then, and he's only gotten Cobar done. Recently, he's been acting very paranoid, snapping at me for trying to contact him, etc. He has only gotten the base rigging for Rotor done, and now, because I keep complaining about him being so slow, he's shut me out until he has something to present, essentially holding my model hostage on me. I've paid for both models, but the last payment was over a year ago. What should I do?

That is a good question. If the last payment was done about six months ago or less you could perform a chargeback to get your money back and take your business elsewhere to get Rotor's model redone, but regardless of how you paid for it it'll be neigh impossible to get your money back through payment method since it has been over a year (trust me, I've tried with a purchase of my own that never delivered for over a year). The only recommendations I could give would be to wait since attempting to contact him has only lead to further headaches, and he probably is earnestly attempting to finish his work on the model, or contact DigitalEro's staff for their advice since it was through their site.

I've contacted DigitalEro, and they said that, since the deal was done over PM, they can't do anything about it.

I think the amount I paid is too small to be considered worthy of a lawsuit by any court, sadly.

There's nothing you can't almost possibly do I'm afraid about your situation. Still 3D makers can take huge chunks amount of time.
