So, I have been an official, named member of this community for just under a month now and I still haven't posted a single piece of content. This is mostly due to the fact that other obligations in my life have sort of sidelined my newly found hobby of digital drawing as well as my more honed hobby of writing. I haven't had the time to sit down and draw anything even half worth posting and a strong fit of writer's block has all but stifled any desire to write any stories.
All of that, however, is about to change. I have recently played a video game on the lovely platform known as Steam called "Amorous". Not the greatest game (it's frankly a well-polished flash dating sim), but it captured my imagination and fueled my desire to write again in such a beautiful way that I've been burning the midnight oil, as it were, writing the first few chapters to a story.
Now, the first few chapters will, admittedly, be HUGELY inspired by the game previously mentioned (the major plot points, characters, and setting will be almost carbon copies of one of the playable routs in Amorous). The story was so inspiring to me that I really felt that I needed to tell it from my own perspective, with my own twists, and in my own world. HOWEVER (and this part is the important bit), The chapters following the first few will expand on and beyond the characters and story told in said game.
Now, admittedly, this story will be labeled as an "Amorous" fan fiction (and rightfully so, a huge portion of the story was drawn from events in the game). But I can promise you, any fans of a love story should be pleased with how this story develops (it has all the tropes; jilted lovers, love at first sight, night club drama, the works!).
I'm personally excited to tell the story bubbling up in my head, and can't wait to see if anyone takes an interest in such things! Anyway, that's enough of my rambling. Hope to get this story posted soon, so keep an eye out for it!
