Building my Collection

I recently checked through my movie collection for Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki films and found surprisingly enough I am lacking in that area, so I'm starting buy more and build it up, but I hope I get my tax refund soon because Amazon has some great sales on those movies at the moment.

Currently Own:
Spirited Away
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Howl's Moving Castle
Porco Rosso
The Cat Returns
My Neighbor Totoro

Just purchased:
Whisper of the Heart
Tales from Earthsea
The Borrower Arrietty (Japanese version, all regions dvd with subs)
Princess Mononoke
Pom Poko

Still to buy:
Ponyo
Kiki's Delivery Service
Castle in the Sky
Grave of Fireflies
My Neighbors the Yamadas
Lupin the Third: Castle of the Cagliostro

I had an free 25$ Amazon card and just got my paycheck, that's why I ordered five, but until at least I get paid again or my tax refund, I'm going to have to hold out on the others. I'm excited to get an good collection going there though. :3

Damn, I knew I forgot one, I have The Cat Returns as well. Gotta update that. I'm not about finding Puss in Boots though, might be one of those only available in certain regions. I know I found a couple more that I didn't list that wouldn't work with US dvd players. :( But thanks!

Hey... I have the ones you're missing, at least most of them. Just tell me how can I make them get to you

Thank you but I think I'd rather buy them myself, I get weird about property belonging to others. Thanks again though! *hugs*

Don't forget the catbus!

I prefer to go a while between watching Miyazaki films. On their own, they are beautiful, but after a while, you begin to notice similarities... similar to the way Muppet puppeteers animate Muppets... and it bothers me. :-P

I pick up on that regardless of length of time, but right now I love those little details. The floating run always makes me smile. :3

Can't believe I forgot Totoro as well, it's not my day. Hehe.
