I feel a big weight about me for not sharing more recently like I told myself I would commit to. Through the beginning of January through most of February I was wallowing deeply in the “nothing I am writing is up to standards, I suck as a writer” row. I have done plenty of writing this past few weeks though, including a few scripts for podcast that I am proud of but not really privy to share. I am really glad the bug has bit me and I am really starting to put the proverbial ink on paper again. My biggest problem is I have about six or seven shorts that are all in progress. This is bad, bad, habit I have to break and get back to focusing on one thing at a time, finish, edit, post, move on to the next.
I also need to start self imposing deadlines on to myself. When I was NaNoWriMo I wa writing like I had a grudge against keyboard but when I “just need to post something next week” I jump from story to story with no solid following and never FINISH anything. I have some things that are getting close to done and look forward to sharing those with everyone. I am going to try to put myself on a stricter writing schedule to get results.
I really need to find a proofreader and casual editor. I am so horrible at editing my own works.
