I've wasted my life...

Hey...ugh...listen. None of you may need to hear this, but...you people need to realize all the things I...no. WE like....it's all stuff meant for little kids. Pokemon: meant for kids. Sonic: meant for kids. Any video game in general(minus M rated games): meant for kids. Anime: meant for kids. Plus...when you do get money...don't spend it on useless stuff like drawings and stuff meant for little kids. Save it up and spend it on something more important, such as office supplies, tools, or better yet...not spend a single dime at all. You see...there's a thing called buyers weakness, which makes you spend money on stuff you don't even need. Ugh...what I'm trying to say is...after I disappointing my uncle after he found out I spent 1000$ this month alone....I realized....I wasted my life on all the things I've mentioned. You should all take notes from this, because you don't wanna end up as pathetic as me, someone who wasted his life playing video games, writing stories that won't pass up as official things(surprised I haven't been sued yet), I watch cartoons(most of which are only meant for little kids and/or girls)...I don't even have a job and girlfriend. I cant even write a story without someone helping me...I've wasted my life, and it took my uncle to make me realize that...if you guys suddenly see my art and/or fanfics vanish from this site and fanfiction.net...it means I've discarded them, because they're just a part of my old childish self, because if those stay...it just shows I refuse to grow up, choosing to remain a man child....ugh...this is Seanzilla9999/115, and...please. Take this advice to heart, get rid of everything that's deemed childish, and grow up

No, your problem is that you have buyer's weakness and your uncle isn't helping because he's blaming your interests instead of trying to get you to be more financially responsible. Does your uncle hold onto anything from things he grew up with? Ephemera from his past like old toys, recordings or VHS tapes of his favorite shows or anything else of the like? If so, he can straight up fuck off.

Pokemon has always catered to kids first and foremost and yet there's the Pokemon Bank and means to transfer Pokemon from previous generations back to gen 3 (over a decade and a half old now), not to mention the virtual console releases on current Nintendo consoles. What's always been appealing about a lot of Nintendo's games and consoles is that they don't feel like they're pandering to the youngest possible audience. I can still enjoy Super Mario Bros 3 twenty years after I first played it, and it doesn't feel any different for me than it did back when I first played it.

Anime is a form of animation and not a genre, or do you think you could show a five year old one of the many, MANY ultra violent anime translated by companies like Manga Entertainment and Central Park Media prior to 2002?

Video games are a medium, and ESRB ratings only signify content ratings and not meant to be interpreted as a recommendation of which age groups should play the game. Do you think your average elementary schooler could handle the large lines of text having existentialist themed diatribe from JRPGs like the Final Fantasy series (almost all of which are rated E, E10+ or T rated games)?

I will say that spending $1,000 in a month is ill advised if you don't have a regular income, but you cannot blame this on your interests. If you feel you wasted your life maybe you need change how you go about your interests and spending habits instead of throwing everything away. I've tried that, trust me, you end up even far more miserable afterwards. The best thing you can do for yourself is change your negative habits, not try to conform yourself into what someone else thinks you should be.

True true...and the whole 1000$ thing....normally I just go out once a week each month for a tournament, and...well, found out about another tournament that happens daily and been going out twice as much
