Friday the 13th is coming once again and you know what that means. Prepare for gore! Some of it will be old stuff, some will be new.
Also I haven't been posting anything new since last Friday the 13th because on that very day I unexpectedly received notice that I was being evicted. I ultimately ended up moving to Texas with a friend and my two dogs to live with my sister on a 18 acre Welsh pony ranch to which I now co-own.
While this made me very happy at first, barely a month living there both my beloved dogs got cancer and had to be put down. They both died less than a week apart which was really hard to take since I raised both of them from puppies. One was a male golden retriever mix named Huxley and the other a female pure bred German shepherd named Elsa. They lived full and happy lives and loved living on the farm the short time they were there.
After taking a month off to mourn their passing, I got a new male German shepherd puppy named Shane and have been busy spending time training him to be a good dog. Between looking after him and working on the ranch helping to care for 20 ponies, 16 barn cats, 5 dogs, and other chores has left me with little time for artwork until recently. We're in the process of selling off some of our ponies to lower the over head of running the ranch.
This will give me more free time to work on art and since I'm currently unemployed I'll be able to start taking commissions again soon to help pay the bills. I'll make another journal post when I'll be ready to take commissions and what the prices and limitations will be.
