2020 Commission Pricing and Policies

Here's some info about my commissions. Updated April 29th.

Types of Commissions
I offer primarily 2 types of commissions:

Standard Commissions:
The standard route for how my Commissions go, this would primarily involve a deep one-on-one discussion about the plot involved, the characters, and so on. If you know what you want and how it'll go, then this is ideally the best way to do it, and I'll follow our plot to a T. If you need help with the plot, I don't mind bouncing ideas with you. If you alternatively have no ideas and want to give me free reign, then that is also a possiblity (these are originalled called wing-its, but they're part of this now.)

Interactive Story Commissions (Twine Commisions):
Twine commissions will function similary to your average story commission: they'll still be my normal rate, but the word count is based off of the proofing copy of the game (which I can export through Twine) and may include batches of code. The main difference between this and your average story is interactivity and non-linear story progression. If you've seen some of my Twine works before, you'll know that they're primarily text adventure games that revolve around exploration, with occasional RPG elements and other mechanics. These typically take longer than your average story, so keep that in mind.

Pricing
All commissions will be charged at a flat rate of $20 per 1000 words, up to a maximum of 10,000 word chapters, with no limit for twine commissions. If you want a 20,000 word commission, then you would be getting 2 10,000 word chapters instead.

You will incur no extra charges for difficult content that requires extra research. Minor changes to your drafts will also be free (things like changing fur colour, names, adjusting positions and so on).

Any changes that need to be made after the first draft that extend beyond 1000 words in total will incur a discounted charge of $10 per 1000 words in SOME cases.. This will ultimately depends on whether something will need to be re-written due to my own fault (I misunderstood something etc) or yours (wanting something new, etc), so this will be on a case-by-case basis.

If in the case that the entire piece needs to be re-written due to my own error (or the majority, that is), then no extra charges will be applied.

Make sure you have your full payment ready and available upon requesting a commission. Though I ask for a good amount of time to get your commission finished, there will be times when I can get it done relatively quickly, and a prompt payment is required when I hand you your first draft. If you are unable to pay immediately, then please inform me, so I can start your commission at a later date.

If you want to pay in installments, then don't! Simply save the money for your commission until you have the full amount-- I will delay giving you the first draft until you're ready. This is to avoid paypal's transaction and services fees occuring twice due to split payments. Also just makes it easier to keep track.

Dos and Don'ts
Whilst you are getting a tailored piece written just for you, to your specifications, there are things I will not write about, and things that I enjoy writing more.

I DO: Male or Female adults, or cubs. Feral/Monsters, Paw Play, Watersports, Rape/Non-con, Prostitution, Blackmail, Exhibitionism, Light or Medium/Heavy BDSM, Some Darker Kinks as well.

I DON'T DO: Shemales or Hermaphrodites, Humans, Klonoa, Vore, Extreme Gore, Growth, Age Regression, Transformation, Diapers, Death/Snuff, Macro/Micro, or Castration.

More often than not, I have forgotten a kink, so don't be shy in PMing me to make sure I might be willing to write what you want.

Disinterested Subjects
These are things, either universes, canons or kinks that I don't have any interest in writing or aren't 'in to' and more often than not will reject for a commission. Should you insist however, then I will incur an extra 20% to the commission total for having to write about these subjects, because it will require more effort on my part in order to write it. These subjects are:
-- Sonic the Hedgehog (and his respective universe/characters)
-- Klonoa (and his respective universe/characters)
-- The Lion King (and its respective universe/characters)
-- Extreme BDSM (Puppy Play, Flogging, Master/Slave, the works)
-- Heavy Musk/Extreme Musk Play

I'll update these as I come across more of them.

How it Works

Step 1: Contact me about your commission through any of my contacts posted on my main commission sheet. We'll discuss the commission between us and should everything work out, I'll take your commission on.
Step 2: Wait patiently for the first draft to be complete. At this point, you can message me to ask for an update and I'll be honest with you about where I'm at with it. If you're in a queue, I will typically inform you when I'm about to start too.
Step 3: I will provide you with the first draft. At this point, you can request any changes to your commission (new scenes, tweaks, etc) and then send the payment for your commission in full, along with any extra fees for editing (Most of the time, this does not occur)
Step 4: I will finish your commission off by making the changes you need. At this point I will normally post it to my profile, but if you wish for it to remain private, that's fine. If you want a copy for yourself, that's also fine.

Twine commissions work a little differently: in those instances I can provide you with periodic updates that you can actively play for yourself. When it's fully completed you'll get one last chance to beta test it before I post it online (or not, if you wish for it to be private).

How long does it take?
I now ask that you wait up to at least a month for a commission to be completed. My turnaround times usually vary and it's mostly never this long, but in case other things come up, it could potentially take up to this amount of time to finish.

I will try and keep you up to date each time you ask me. I am always available though IB, SF, Discord, and Telegram, so don't hesitate to get in touch. I read and answer to every message I get.

Art/Writing Trades
I will be accepting trades of my writing for art and/or another writer's work for the forseeable future. I do prefer art more than writing but either is fine. I doubt this will be a 'hot topic' but I'm mainly accepting them now on the off chance someone requests it.
-- In order for things to be fair, I will write the amount equivalent in value to what I get in return (i.e if your art is valued at $40, I'll write 2,000 words, since that's ~$40 to me.)
-- Standard Do's and Don'ts still apply.
-- The possibility for the story and the art to share the same theme, provided interests line up, is not off the table.

Author Rights:
As the author of said works, I have the right to:
-- Claim the intellectual property of the work as a whole (not the individual characters therein if they are owned by another)
-- Refuse any commission on whatever grounds I see fit, to the point of not giving a reason at all if I want to.
-- Stop a commission anytime for any reason.
-- Refuse commissions that contains a political agenda or are harmful to a minority people.
-- Keep records of transactions, correspondance and commissions as I wish. These are confidential, just in case you're worried.

Commissioner Rights:
As a commissioner, you have the right to:
-- Request your commission not be posted publicly and remain private.
-- Request your commission be removed from my profile, if it has been previously uploaded.
-- Post my work on your profile, so long as appropriate credit is given. (A simple iconname link works)
-- Request any changes you see fit at any time. (For more details, check pricing.)
-- Stop a commission at any time before payment, for whatever reason you like.

Returns Policy
You do not pay up front for your commission. If you change your mind about the commission before you receive the first draft, or just after, then that's fine, and I will sweep it under the rug.

I cannot, however, provide a refund after you have paid for the commission, as you had the time to reject it completely and chose to go ahead anyway. I consider this fair enough.

If, however, you are completely unsatisfied with the commission when you receive it as a first draft, then I will endeavour to rewrite it. I'd rather have a happy customer than an angry one.
