2017 had been rather tough, especially the last month, but we’re hoping to have a much much better new year.
Last year had quite some challenges, mainly affecting my husband’s health and causing a lot of pain and stress to both of us. Sadly there had been losses in family and december held quite some new surprises to not only us, but we pushed through it all and it only made us stronger.
Despite the surge of misfortune, there’d been plenty good as well. Moppie had his surgery at last and I’ve got to meet his peruvian side of the family who are some of the most amazing people. Months later we got to see them again for a day and see a little bit of Orlando which was quite an experience too! I’ve gotten to see doctors too that helped better understand my hormonal problems and somewhat treat them. I’ve also discovered some interesting philosophies and new opportunities in life that I’m hoping to put to use in order to better myself and our situation in the future.
As always, I owe huge, huge thanks to everyone over here for the moral and financial support that helped us pull through and afford all the healthcare and bills. I know I say it over and over, but I really do mean my sincerest grace for everything and I want you guys to know that.
As far as a resolution goes?.. I suppose I’ll keep on working hard and making the best of what I can. Right now we’re a bit inconvenienced with the tiny apartment full again, but hopefully this cost of privacy will help us save some more at least.
I really want to find ways to take short breaks every now and again too that will help us progress and not burn out. I tend to appreciate the stupidest little things (like seeing an owl the other night. I literally flipped in the car from excitement. I’m very excitable with wildlife, especially birbs. :U) and the big guy likes drawing outside of the house too so I think we can pull that off!
I am not sure how easy or hard this would be, but I also, really want to see my family at some point too. It’s gonna be 4 years I haven’t seen them and they’ve been asking more to see us while I also got very homesick thanks to the holidays so it’d be neat to go for a month or so.
I also launched the patreon page for the pokemon comic project I've talked about and held votes for before and I am hoping for that to succeed.
I'm sure there's more but it's too early for me to do a smart just yet. x3x'

As for me and my new year well its been meh. I was suppose to work today but got a call from work saying that they where not set up for us to come to work. So i'm like....okay! Back to bed! XD
If i knew i didn't have to work on New Years Day id of gone to the bar for some cold ones and enjoy the holiday. But oh well. Still had fun at home relaxing. ^_^

My 2017 wasn't the best either, but having amazing peeps to talk to and amazing arts to appreciate kept me "above the water". As far as resolution, I'd love to actually get a new OC of mine brought to life each month or two by others with the ability to do so (a list you're on the top of :3) so looking forward to try to get that accomplished ^_^

2017, what a year...I'm still not sure what it was but it was something alright.
Those ups and downs are the only times when going uphill is easier than down, how strange these things are. Great to hear things sound generally on the upward climb overall and that you both are getting what you need.
Hopefully Orlando treated you well! Its a super strange city but I'm rather happy to call it home. Lots of us weirdos here >.> :p
