If you haven't hear, there is a LOT of buzz going around about Net Neutrality. The Net neutrality is everything that keeps the internet equal to everyone. There's a lot of laws in place that protects it, but, as usual with politics stuff, it has gotten sort of... murky. Recently, Ajit Pai, chairman of the FCC, has finally achieved his wish- he wants to destroy these laws, and with the way he has it set up, they will NEVER be allowed back. Why does he want to get rid of the Laws that lets us have free will? Because of money. Big cable companies lobby constantly against Net Neutrality so they can charge extra money for streaming certain websites, and give premiums to those they choose (including themselves). Think of it like a highway. Without net neutrality, they have the option to put up a road where everybody pays a TON of money (getting rid of smaller businesses and creators) to go REALLY FAST, or take the slow way.
Markiplier talks about it perfectly and please watch it!!
