Edit: I don't get Mania fans who want this game to fail intentionally so we don't get big dark stories anymore, the little faggots, isn't fuckin' Mania good enough for you? Why can't both Sonics co-excist, it's bad enough we won't get Adventure-like gameplay again and stupid Iizuka still doesn't give a fuck about Sonic, but now you want every game to ge Mania?

I hope the game does well to show interest in the more darker tone story. I understand your pain on how classic fans get so many 2D inspired games, and adventure fans only have 2 games (3 if you count 06 but...yeah, not saying it's SA3 though more like inspired by adventure like how Sonic CD was inspired and plays like the classic) they need to give the style a chance again.

Even though I liked Mania I absolutely do not want that to be the only kind of Sonic game we'll ever get. Sonic is a MAJOR mascot character and face of a gaming company, if such an important character is relegated to throwback nostalgia titles it would be like admitting failure. I am looking forward to Forces with the same kind of anticipation that I had for Breath of the Wild. Then again as a fan of the Sonic cartoons and comic book I actually LIKE when Sonic has a big epic story in his games, that's one of the reasons why I liked Sonic Riders so much more than Mario Kart.
