I can't remember the last time I've been this upset.

by
I've calmed myself after a few hours have passed, so I believe I can think more clearly about this. On my YouTube channel, I made a 40-ish-minute long video responding to a guy who believes that the Earth is flat. I won't say what my views are specifically, only that I both agreed and disagreed with his video. He made a number of fairly valid points that can't be refuted without making assumptions of any kind, but he also made some points that made no sense whatsoever, assumptions being present or not.
When I first stumbled across his channel a couple of weeks ago, I thought his videos were very entertaining, and I could tell just by watching that first one I saw, that he's very passionate and puts a good deal of effort into what he does. Factual inaccuracies aside, I've seen him as a genuine person all this time.
Today, he uploaded a video about the recent events in Charlottesville, and used graphic footage of people being run over by a car to justify the notion that the entire event was staged, and fabricated by "the elite," as he put it. I don't care what people's opinions are when it comes to matters like this. What happened at that protest was a tragedy; a disgusting waste of human life. It deeply disturbs me to see people act so heartlessly as to use events of mentally unstable terrorism as a means to push any sort of agenda, regardless what that agenda's purpose is.
It is not my place to have said video removed for any reason, nor will I elect to reveal any of the information about this person in this forum.
I'm making this journal because I learned that even when you think you know a person, no matter who it is, no matter how silly, genuine, and innocent they seem, there's always the potential for them to turn right around and slap you in the face. Never assume anything is correct or incorrect, because it can all change just like that.
